Football fans in Germany have developed a unique tradition during the NFL's International Series games in the country.

     Recently, during the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins, fans in Frankfurt broke out into song. But it wasn't just any song – they chose to sing John Denver's famous hit, "Take Me Home, Country Roads."  This isn't the first time that German football fans have shown their love for the song. At last year's inaugural International Series game in Germany, fans at the Allianz Arena in Munich also joined together in singing Denver's tribute to West Virginia.

     The tradition started last year and has now become a regular occurrence during NFL games in Germany.  During the recent Week 9 game between the Chiefs and the Dolphins in Frankfurt, the fans once again sang "Take Me Home, Country Roads" with enthusiasm.  The NFL's International Series is gaining popularity each year, with this season featuring five games in total. The final game of the series will take place in Week 10 when the Indianapolis Colts face off against the New England Patriots at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany.
